Wireless Networks
A wireless local area network (LAN) is a flexible data communications system. It operates using the same protocols and transmission techniques as a hardwired or structured cable network, but allows networking to reach areas where fixed cabling is not practical for either physical or fiscal reasons, the system is usually implemented as an extension to a structured cabling system to provide network access to remote areas such as outbuildings or mobile classrooms.

The system uses radio frequency technology to transmit or receive data and depending on the application, can be configured to transmit data up to a maximum range of 18 miles (30KM). Unlike hardwired systems, wireless solutions operate at 11, 22 or 54Mbps, therefore they are not suitable for all network applications as the available bandwidth is lower than that of Category 5 or 6. Unlike many companies who are new to this technology and have little or no experience in implementing proven wireless systems, we have a vast experience in providing wireless solutions and can offer impartial advice on a range of systems.

Whiteboards & Projectors
We supply, install and support a range of interactive products, including Projectors and Whiteboards from leading manufacturers. In addition to mobile interactive products, we provide fixed installations for Interactive Whiteboards & ceiling mounted Projectors, making these wonderful technologies permanently accessible in the classroom. We are able to install projectors to any type of classroom, irrespective of the type or height of the ceiling. Electrical Services
One of the commonly overlooked factors when installing network infrastructure is adequate provision for a suitable, safe, filtered mains power supply. Many intermittent problems are caused by fluctuating mains voltages or interruptions to the supply, which can cause system crashes or disc failures, all of which lead to system downtime and loss of data. Additionally many installations must be wired in accordance with stringent regulations and incorporate high integrity earth safety systems and RCD protection.
